Fort Victoria

Was lucky enough to book fort Victoria from airbnb. Stayed at fort victoria for almost a week for work. It was close to high street and other good places to visit around bgc. It also has a near convenience store which is family mart. It also has a laundry nearby. Tho the elevator feels shaky it’s not too stable. The guards were also accommodating in their treatment among the guests. Good place to stay.

My wife and I, stayed there for just a night via Zen rooms. It was a Loft type. Even though there were no electric fans, the coldness of the aircondition circulates enough for the room and in the dinning area. Complete kitchen appliances and accessories. So you can cook there, but the problem in this area, there was no trash bin. So, you need to buy one. Though, there was a trashbin inside the c.r. And if you can see in the photo, we think it was just a customized c.r. 'cause there was a socket inside and also the faucet was too high. I think it is for a laundry area. But its a great idea, they made this a comfort room. 👍 Also, yeah, based from the other reviews, there were cockroaches at the kitchen cabinets, even on the dinning table 😥 But, the good thing is, they provided a liquid soap and a sponge for washing the dishes. Good factor for us, they have an electronic kettle, for coffee/tea lovers 😍 It also have a wifi. A cable box. But no netflix. But thats okay 👍 Small sofa. One chair at the dinning table. And the stairs, whoa, there were no rails? So be very careful 👍 2 bedrooms with airconditioning. The Master bedroom has a very nice view. And it is scary to look down 😁 Clean bed sheets and pillow cases. Nice clean floors. Toilet upstairs. Has bidet. Hot water. And.. With FREE liquid hand soap and FREE shampoo. - these are rare. With roll on tissue too 👍 Free towels to use 👍 It was like staying in a hotel but with cockroaches 🤭 I hope the Zen rooms company could see this, and inform their staff to tell them to also clean the kitchen area. 👍 We didn't had the chance to use their pool. But we tried going there, yeah, it was clean. 👍 Actually, there were cleaning that time. Lol. And, they also have 3 elevators with different controls, so with a big place they will have no problem of time, i guess. The other entrance of the condo, has a familymart for your convenience. Also, a beauty clinic and a lazy-boy store. Just a few minutes, you can stroll around BGC. Overall, it was a great place to stay 👍

Booked this ‘loft’ apartment through Agoda; and it looked quite different than it is on the site. To be clear the ‘Soho Suites Victoria’ is not on the google map nor actually it is a real place. It’s actually Fort Victoria apartment, and most likely its at Tower B. The apartment is quite small and the stairs are quite steep (when we had a hangover we had to crawl up and down so we don’t fall). The space for sleeping was one room queen size and another ‘room’ (which actually seems to be just a study space/ sitting area) which barely fit in the single bed with extra mattress (please see the picture). In the morning there are always cockroaches in the kitchen and I had to squish a few as a morning routine. The pool … seems like an algae pond - we cant see beyond the first stair of the pool. Don’t swim there; we didn’t. The guards are friendly and the redeeming quality was that there was a 24-hour family mart at the lobby area which we can get almost everything. The kitchen is also quite well-equipped for a service apartment; but we cant cook anything major. Will not come back here unless desperate.
